The Pure Leaf Tea Break Grants Program funds ideas that foster healthier workplace culture and norms. Ideas can be new or already underway, can come from HR, C-level, or the frontline--as long as they improve employee wellbeing through culture change. Winning ideas will serve as models for other employers who prioritize the wellbeing of their people through an effective break culture solution.

Winning ideas will include these guiding principles:

Effective.
They have a clearly-defined goal and solve a specific problem.

Grounded in workers’ voices.
They are informed by the perspectives and the experiences of the people they seek to benefit.

Sustainable.
They are set up for success by key players across the organization.

About the Grants:

Application Logistics

Grants are $5,000, $10,000, or $20,000 USD
based on the number of full time employees.
For more details, please review the full official rules.
Application period is June 27, 2024 - August 22, 2024.
An organization can only be a recipient of one grant.

Who can apply?

We welcome applications who are current, full-time employed adults (18+) of an organization meeting the criteria below in the 50 United States (19 or older if a resident of AL/NE).

Small Business

Entrant is a legal U.S. resident employed by a for-profit business
Business is a United States Entity organized under the laws of one (1) of the fifty (50) United States or the District of Columbia, that has been operating for at least one (1) year
Business has at least 10 FTE
Business has fewer than 250 employees
Business had gross revenues of less than $20 million in both 2022 and 2023

Non Profit Organization

Entrant is a legal U.S. resident employed by a 501(c)(3) nonprofit
501(c)(3) nonprofit is a United States Entity organized under the laws of one (1) of the fifty (50) United States or the District of Columbia, that has been operating for at least one (1) year
501(c)(3) nonprofit has at least 10 FTE
501(c)(3) nonprofit has fewer than 250 employees
501(c)(3) nonprofit had a gross revenue below $10 million in both 2022 and 2023
